Waldi’s World (Episode 13)
Walter Lehnertz returns with new episodes of his docu-soap—packed with humor, adventure, and personal insights. In "Waldi’s World," he reveals himself as a dealer, an artist, and a master improviser. Waldi rolls up his sleeves—and he does so in earnest. A complete estate clearance turns into a mammoth undertaking: years' worth of antiques, furniture, collectibles, and quirky finds await sorting, appraisal, and sale. With a trained eye and his well-oiled team, Waldi unearths hidden treasures that surprise and delight. Dealers are contacted directly, expert appraisals are obtained, and many pieces quickly find new owners.
Whatever remains is either taken back to Krekel—or unhesitatingly consigned to the dumpster. Room by room, order is restored; every object is examined, its history honored, and then let go. The result: an empty house, a clean break—and Waldi, personally handling even the very last finishing touch. Returning to the dealer's daily grind, this episode showcases the essence of his job: intuition, pace, and the stories behind the objects. Eight episodes of "Waldi’s World" air on Sundays at 2:00 PM.
